Getting to know me. Hi, I'm Amanda. LMT and owner of Aura Contour and Massage. While I do offer services in both areas, my passion lies with massage. Although my path to massage was a bit unconventional, the truth is, I have a deep drive and passion for helping people and I always knew that I wanted to be apart of the medical community. I had my sights set on nursing, but quickly discovered that I can't stomach some of the more visceral aspects of the profession. Case in point, blood and guts really get to me. I stumbled onto massage by chance and despite un-glamorous roots, I am passionate about the profession and what I (literally) bring to the table!

But enough about massage. Haha! As many of you already know, I am fairly new to the Tri-Cities. I moved from Colorado a few years back with the help of my husband, his family and the support of my mom and my dog. Who, both uprooted their lives to come with me! I left behind my amazing son and a life that I miss with all of my heart, but the Tri-Cities has become home faster than I imagined it could. I have made some awesome friends and through my work have had the pleasure of getting up close and personal with the heartbeat of the area. My clients.

I work a lot (it actually only feels like work, sometimes.), and my impact on the people who end up on my table is incredibly important. But I don't live and breathe massage. In my free time, I love to read, draw, hike, cuddle with my woofer, cook and eat good food, play video games and try to keep up with my houseplants. Just to name a few hobbies.
